Love + Marriage

Marriage is quite possibly my most favorite topic to think about. Prior to getting married, marriage to me was entirely optional.  My life was amazing, I did whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted and answered to no one. I was happy with myself and loved my life. I decided I would only get married if it was going to be a world rocking, life altering, passionate love affair.

Then I met my husband. Who was nothing I was looking for and still everything I had ever dreamed of, the one I would go “all in” with.

I have learned more and grown more through marriage than any other area of life.  There have been HARD times, sad times, lonely times and broke times. Times we have wanted to quit, run away, start over, or scream at the top of our lungs (ok, that might’ve just been me).

BUT… to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.

AND… I have never been happier.  Growing with someone is truly one of the most beautiful human experiences there is.  If you want a truly interesting relationship…stay in one.
